Flags of Glory is a division of the Toronto Gay Football League. The division kicked off in 2013. As a registered non-profit, Flags of Glory provides an opportunity for all non-binary and trans players, regardless of orientation, and all lesbians, bisexual, and queer positive women to play flag football.
We strive to create the opportunity for everyone regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, athletic ability, or skill level to play football, have fun, and build community. We play Saturdays from May until September at Felstead Avenue Playground.
With Flags of Glory, you are wanted and all are welcome.
Flags of Glory exists to give non-binary and trans people, regardless of orientation, and all lesbians, bisexual, and queer positive women a chance to play flag football, regardless of skill or experience, in a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment that is free from harassment.
We are bringing people together and building community, through sport, social activities and community events. We believe playing sports should be accessible and fun for all.
More Than Just Games!
In addition to our regular season and playoff games, we are committed to enhancing the off-field social experience for players.
In past seasons, we organized several league-wide social events in addition to individual team hangs. Every season has also featured a year-end banquet and awards ceremony!
